The End of an Era - Affliction Warlock PvP Nerfs 7.1.5
7.1.5 Warlock nerfs
• PvP Nerfs, and some PvE Nerfs and thoughts, opinions
• What the nerfs, and how were they implemented
• Affliction Nerfs
o MG nerfed from 80% to 70%
14% damage nerf
Really helped out warlock in single target damange
o Death’s embrace nerfed by half
Huge nerf to the execute range
It did its job though, when people got low w/ tons of unstable on them they blew up
o Rot and Decay
Huge, huge nerf.
Rot and Decay does not refresh all dots anymore to max duration
Only puts 1s on each dot as drain goes on
Only refreshes the longest UA dot, so UAs will fall off
• Makes this spec or ability pretty bad
o Endless affliction nerfed from 4s to 3s
Didn’t use it, but had a lot of utility
Soul shatter pretty Junk, but potentially fun in BGs/RBGs
o Curse of Shadows nerfed from 30% to 20%
DIdn’t use it b/c of rot and decay, but now it is even more gimp
• Focused chaos big nerf 100% to 75%
• Firestone from 100% crit to 75% crit
