The End of the Elves - TW:W Empire campaign part 26 (SFO, GCCM, Legitimacy mods)
6Welcome everyone to Total War: Warhammer. In this campaign I'll be playing with a number of mods, most notably the Steel Faith Overhaul, the Grand Campaign Custom Maps pack, and Legitimacy. SFO is one of the most popular mods for TW:W, and rebalances most units and spells while including mods like tier 4 settlements and AI enhancements. The GCCM pack includes over 80 maps presently spread across the campaign map, including unique maps for most settlements and a number of locations. Legitimacy is a new mechanic for the Empire faction that supports a more diplomatically-oriented campaign for control over the Elector Counts. All active mods are listed and linked to below.
In part 26 we have a slow start leading to three massive battles, as our armies take a few turns to recover before going on the offensive again. First to strike is Volkmar in the north, as he attacks the Skaeling forces at the Longship Graveyard and destroys them utterly - the Skaeling soon sue for peace, which we granted after they agreed to bribe us. Taalson is left to defend the north, as our other armies move south to join the campaigns there. Meanwhile, in the south, Waldemar Bokha takes command of Toddbringer's army after an assassin wounded the lord, and joins Gelt in destroying the Crag Halls of Findol. The two of them then turn west and join Franz in purging the last Wood Elven stronghold, Vaul's Anvil.
