The Essence Star- Intro

After the cancellation of other promising projects, it's nice to see something high quality make it to a final version. This hack, made by Golden Yoshi, goes for a holistic experience. The story seems like it's been given a lot of thought and polish; the music is culled from various soundtracks, and is used well; the graphics are varied, and some really nice sprite gfx edits stand out. The gameplay itself is also quite diverse, as you'll see from the videos. I'm looking forward to actually trying some levels out!
But first, I thought I'd upload this intro to give you an idea of what the story, music, and graphics are like. I'll also do another intro video in which I explore the main island, and from there hopefully it'll be some speedy level runs ^^. We'll see.
