An old friend of the channel returns today with a very unusual new ruleset and a sublime puzzle with twelve (12!!!!) given digits!! It's called Euclidean Windmill and it's by Botaku. Apparently it was set very quickly as part of a speed setting competition - which just makes it even more remarkable.

Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply. For any two instances of a digit N, if it takes X horizontal steps and Y vertical steps to go from one to the other, then X*X + Y*Y is at least N.
The intro today is from Bruce Springsteen's The Ghost Of Tom Joad. (And would have been longer but for Copyright issues... although, given Simon is singing, that's probably for the best!).
