Chapter 7 overall isn't too hard. You can run past most enemies without any problems.

I recommend picking up the axe when you first encounter the AlterEgos so you can use it when turning off the gas.

When you go up that spike trap after shooting both cranks in the right path, one AlterEgo will drop down. You can stomp him for an insta-kill. In general, when AlterEgos are laying on the ground you can stomp them to death. Just don't fail like me.

At 19:34, I recommend picking up the axe sticking out of the debris. You can one-shot the Keeper with an axe.
