Chapter 1 Akumu difficulty walkthrough.

Few thing you need to know about Akumu mode.
1) Akumu difficulty becomes available after you finish game on survival
2) Finishing game of Akumu will give you Master of Horror achievement for finishing game on Nightmare
3) You die when you take unscripted damage. Any enemy kills you in one hit.
4) Enemies are much more aggressive. They move faster and will pursue you as long as they can see you.
5) Enemies have much higher awareness
6) Ammo is much harder to find so you have to manage your resources
7) Pick up every trap part you can.

As for upgrades my first priority is running. I wan't it at least doubled. Then I'm upgrading Agony Crossbow bolts. Flash bolt at first becouse it has great stun duration when maksed. Then harpoon bolt for that massive damage and fire bonus. Some amo capacity upgrades along the way, especially matches.

Chapter 1 is pretty straightforward. There's only one difference compared to survival difficulty. There are some extra boxes blocking your way when you have to sneak past the Sadist 7:38.
