Upon taking control of detective Castellanos, you will need to investigate the memorial hospital, and find out just what has happened. Once inside, move over to the control desk to trigger a cutscenes with one of the doctors. Your partner will tell you to view the security camera nearby. Approach the security console and access it to trigger the next sequence. Once the intro sequence ends, you will be awoken by a chainsaw wielding brute, who seems to have wasted no time in stringing you up. From there, watch as the butcher cuts up a victim and then walks away. Once the butcher moves to the next room, look across towards the hanging corpse to see a knife jabbed in it. When prompted, move the left left analog stick up and down to swing towards the knife to grab it. Once you've freed yourself, it's time to escape! Press the r2/rb button to crouch in stealth and move towards the butcher and hide. Wait for the butcher to move away and then slowly walk up and grap the blue glowing keys above the table(you need to stand up to take them).
The Evil Within is a third person game developed by Tango Gameworks and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game was directed by Resident Evil series creator Shinji Mikami and was released worldwide in October 2014 for PS3, PS4, Windows, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
