Fun Facts:
Hitman: Codename 47 is the only Hitman game so far to be developed solely for PC. Starting from Hitman 2: Silent Assassin and onward, the series has been developed for both PC and consoles.
There is a rare glitch that occurs in the tutorial level. 47 will have a twisted deformed head to where his eyes will face backwards and the top of his head will be almost flat. It is unknown how to make it happen.
Hitman 2 is the only Hitman game to be released on a Nintendo platform (Nintendo GameCube).
Only the PS3 release version of Hitman 2 comes with a spanish language support, in the Hitman HD Trilogy, PC and Xbox 360 version, it only includes an english language support
In the mission level The Meat King's Party, If you stand close enough to The Girl's corpse on the second floor, you can hear laughter.
In the final mission of Hitman Contracts, Hunter and Hunted level, the location where the mission's target Inspector Albert Fournier can be found standing behind a police van, you will see behind him a crowd of people on the other side of the police barricade. Within the crowd is a mime artist, which if killed will not show up as dead on the map screen.
In Hitman Bloodmoney, On the level The Murder of Crows, in one of the clubs, (rock, blues or salsa) if the player doesn't move for a while, 47 will start dancing. The same happens in the mission Till Death Do Us Part, on the dance floor.
On many of the Hitman games, people walk through doors. It seems to happen in You Better Watch Out… (Hitman Bloodmoney) the most. Sometimes, the hidden target will walk through a door and after you kill her, all the guards do the same
Absolution was released on November 20, 2012, which is the forty-seventh week in the year (a reference to the protagonist, Agent 47).
In the mission A Personal Contract, The song that the guard tries to play on the "out of tune" piano is the Tomb Raider theme which is a reference to the hit video game series Tomb Raider.
