Fun Facts:
1. In 1993, Nintendo Power released an eleven-issue comic book series, telling its own version of the Star Fox game.
2. Star Fox 2 is an unreleased video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was to be the second of the Star Fox series and the direct sequel to Star Fox. Throughout the years various Japanese prototype ROM images of the game were leaked online by various non-Nintendo parties, but it was not until 2015 that the public learned a fully mastered ROM image has been long realized.
3. The first line on the official Nintendo Power guide's rear cover reads "In space no one can hear you scream" which recites the tagline of the Alien film franchise. In addition, Goras has a similar body structure and feral nature in comparison to the Xenomorph creature, and that certain cultures have worshiped them as gods.
4. Star Fox Adventures was the first and only Star Fox title Rare has made and the final Rare game made for a Nintendo home console.
5. This is the first game in the series released under the titular Star Fox name in Europe and Australia. The previous games were released as Starwing and Lylat Wars in those regions.
6. When Assault was initially announced by Nintendo and Namco, it was also rumored that an arcade game was under development. However, the arcade game was never heard about again in the public.
7. The english voice actress for Krystal, Alesia Glidewell, is also known for having her face used as the facemap of Chell in Valve's Portal and Portal 2.
