I unashamedly love the fast and furious series. From the grounded street racing early films to the completely nonsensical heist films it’s become now. Movies are meant to be fun and I think this series never forgets that.

I had a conversation recently that reminded me how much I liked it and led me to editing this video. I mainly used clips from the fast and the furious and some from 2 fast 2 furious. Something I did notice is despite how crazy the series has got they haven’t done a race/chase in rain… bare in mind fast and furious 6 was set in London and at this point they’ve been to space but no rain scene… I found that funny. In fate of the furious (fast & furious 8) it literally rained cars but i digress

My personal favourite in series is fast 5 I think it’s brilliantly paced and has great action set pieces plus the ending with Danza kuduro playing is very satisfying.

Favourite cars: han’s mazda rx-7, dom’s dodge charger, brian’s blue Nissan skyline r-
34, han’s nissan silvia (mona lisa), the ford mustang from tokyo drift with the racing stripe, DK’s Nissan 350z was cool too

Favourite characters: vin diesels dominic toretto, paul walkers brain o connor, tyrese charcacter Roman, ludacris, Michelle rodriguez letty (especially in the first one), the rock, gal gadot

It’ll be interesting to see how brie larson and Jason mamoa do in fast x

In regards to music I was drawing on inspiration from dr Dre, snoop dogg and g funk. There was an altered version of dr dre - the watcher used in the intro of michael b jordan’s creed 3 that really inspired me and I wanted to try my hand at a similar sound.
