The Final Showdown: Solarus the Immaculate - V Rising Gloomrot: Boss Crawl
1Brand new run of V Rising in light of the Gloomrot patch - Minecraft but you're allergic to sunlight like every gamer ever... Last boss of the game, Solarus is surprisingly... underwhelming compared to the three "Raid" Bosses, despite himself formerly being one. Lots of his early damage is reduced because of the need for heavy holy resistance just to enter the room where he is, but don't get overconfident. Solarus will do progressively more physical damage, and can chunk you by surprise if you aren't careful with your dodges. Soon into the fight, Solarus will summon an angel to aid him, but you can mostly ignore it until Solarus is low on health. That is because the boss will immune himself and heal back to half and remain invincible and immobile until the angel is dead. Once the angel is defeated, it will transform into a fallen angel and fight for you, capable of killing Solarus if he is low enough, as he will focus only on you or dash copies. Use the angel to your advantage, as its damage isn't trivial.
