1,670The Finals beta end time fast approaches and I wanted to share my thoughts on what is my game of the year so far. The Finals developer Embark Studios hit it out the park with this game, the incredible gameplay, fun and competitive nature of the game are exactly what the gaming community needed.
But the Finals Playtest will end today but the full game will surely come out imminently. In light of the success of the game, this game could be the biggest new FPS game we've seen in years. The finals beta will end, but the anticipation for the full game will be huge.
The release date for the Finals on Xbox, PS5 and Steam should be announced soon and given that on steamcharts the game hit over 250,000 active players and averaged at least 150,000 for the whole week was astonishing when you consider there were three maps to play in total.
To play The Finals beta simply go to the store on your device, be it on steam, xbox store of the playstation store and register for the beta, download and go. This is the first crossplay beta for The Finals so it's open to everybody. But be quick because it ends soon.
The game is very popular which is great to see and totally understandable. The Finals servers have been crashing and going down due to the unforseen popularity of this game and there is also the login error code 500 popping up on steam. Just keep trying and eventually it will work and you'll get into matchmaking. Also if you are getting empty lobbies in the game then just make sure that crossplay is on and you will see that issue way less.
The Finals open beta period starts on October 26, and runs through to November 5. The Finals release date is not yet known but the game is looking like it could launch now, it's that good.
The Finals was made by Embark Studios and it is a crossplay free to play action-packed game with teams trying to cashout vaults of money, the team with the most money at the end wins. The system requirements are not that high and anyone seems to be able to play this game on any of the available platforms at pretty high quality.
The Finals has added new content as part of the open beta period including the new map Skyway Stadium, a new mode, as well as the classic game mode cashout on Monaco and Seoul.
