The First Ritual - Total War: Warhammer II Teclis campaign part 3
Welcome everyone to my first campaign in Total War: Warhammer II. In this campaign I will be playing Teclis, twin brother of Tyrion, of the High Elves. While Tyrion protects Ulthuan, it falls to us to seek the means to prevent the collapse of the Vortex and save the world. A summary of each session will be posted below, as well as links to the beginnings of battles for those who just care to watch the fights. No mods will be used in this campaign, though future campaigns will explore various mods of interest as they are released.
In part 3 we defeat a rebellion, push north into Skaven territory, and begin our first ritual. We begin by recruiting a rather unimpressive Elven Prince to scout the seas for us, a job fit for someone of such low talent. As word comes that another power has begun their first ritual, we decide haste is needed, and allow a rebellion to form in the Turtle Isles. Teclis puts it down easily, restoring some order to the region, before he begins moving north to Hualotal. We suspected it to be a Ratmen enclave, and our suspicions were confirmed when we found a large garrison force under Blistitt. The ensuing battle cost the lives of many elves, but the settlement fell to the might of Teclis's magic. Afterwards, the smaller settlement at the Cavern of the Mlexigar is overrun very quickly, as are the gem mines of Chiquibol in the eastern mountains, leaving our northern border fairly secure. We decide the time is right to begin our ritual, and the power summons three Chaos hordes. As we quickly build a second army under the Princess Caydrille, Teclis moves to meet Chaos and destroys the first army led by Iber Ironcast.
Battles:
13:16 - Teclis vs Illidial
36:15 - Teclis vs Blistitt and Hualotal garrison
