The Fixture S2 Grip is the ULTIMATE Switch OLED Accessory!
33I was a fan of the original Fixture S1 (full review here! https://youtu.be/_alnVkjPqNY) for my OG launch day Nintendo Switch. I thought it offered some truly innovative design and addressed the biggest weakness the original had: the Joy-Cons frequently aren't fun to play a game with. And as much as I loved my S1, it wasn't enough of a reason to not upgrade to the OLED model of the Switch - but I'd sadly been left cold and alone in the wastelands of gameplay, having to resort to either Tabletop mode (gross) or using Joy-Cons when on the go (GROSS).
But recently, the fine folks at Fixture reached out and offered me the opportunity to review the S2, the grip, case, and controller combo (the Fixture S2 Ultra Bundle for those scoring at home, and with the benefit of flash photography) for the OLED model. Today, we're just doing an unboxing to show the basics of the device, but rest assured there will be an in-depth review coming up. In June, I'm on my way to Columbus, OH for CORGSCon, and the Fixture S2 will be my go-to for the event. We'll be doing a full durability test, showing it off in action, and doing a live review where I ask folks at the show if they've tried it out and what they think of it.
