Part 12. Day 12. Location... deep underground in a cave system.
I found a human encampment and more answers to this damned mystery. These.. cannies.. these cannibals.. I notice a mutation - with some of these guys more human than others.. reaching the point of the "crazies" where they are all grey, and have no genitals.. sharp teeth too. Sort of like on I am legend. Then there's the cheiftans and all that.. but I noticed that they really embrace human technology and art - they incorporate it into their culture. They seem like a "fresh" tribe, just learning how to mark things and all that. I think they used to be normal people. I think something happened - That the plane crash occurred, after people came to this forest to explore the caves. I found magazines, cameras, indicators that people came here separately from the passengers on the plane.
Today I wanted to go into the cave.. the "same" cave that I found myself in when I faked my death. It was not the "same" cave.. it was a different cave. A much different cave.. leading me through underwater caverns and passageways.. leading me to a room with shining blue crystal things hanging form the ceiling.. weird.. Oh and the aborted fetus looking monstrosities that were writhing on the floor.. and shrieking.. this Forest is fucked and this cave is fucked and I am fucked. Still.. I went deeper in.. and found some tents, more magazines.. indications that "only 1 person survived" during a cave exploration trip.. I saw crosses nailed to things.. bibles.. dead people looking like they were praying to something.. I decided to camp for the "night"/"day" whatever, next to those dead, using their tents. There is a pool of water nearby that i will dive into tomorrow.. wish me luck. I'm doing this for Timmy.
