When you look at GT7 vs Forza in terms of how this was presented, GT7 let people believe that ray tracing in-game was an option when it was not. The Forza Motorsport 8 news that has many concerned is that in a Forza Motorsport 8 gameplay blog they had stated it was running on Xbox Series X. It turned out that the Forza Motorsport 8 trailer was showcasing pc gameplay.
