The Starfield Gameplay Reveal Had Issues & Tons of Promise
982The Starfield gameplay reveal from Bethesda has a lot of people comparing No Man's Sky and Starfield as many of the same gameplay elements are present. However, I wanted to take a moment to look at the Starifled Framerate in this presentation and talk about how that made the first viewing a bit jarring for me and left me a bit concerned. However, the storytelling from Bethesda did have me very excited for this Xbox game coming in 2023. Starfield has been the biggest Xbox news story this week and as everyone is talking about it I thought I'd take my own deep dive. The conversation comparing gameplay from Starfield No Man's Sky and others have been cropping up so I touch on that at the top. But mostly I take a look at the Starfield Framerate by doing individual counts of the frames shown. The Starfield Bethesda pass that is normally given is being picked up by Reddit as a search for Starfield Framerate Reddit also shows they have the same concerns. In my Starfield gameplay breakdown, I take a look at this and give my best Starfield analysis of the framerate.
