How Xbox Game Pass & PS Plus Demos Are Different
999I love the idea of Xbox Game Pass Demos supporting developers. I love the idea of getting to try out all PlayStation Plus games for 2-5 hours and then purchasing the game if I decide to buy them. I do NOT love the idea that both of these are put behind a paywall meaning I and every other consumer get hit twice if we decide to try out a game. This video is a direct response to commenters who are saying I'm praising either when in reality I feel as though Project Moorcroft and PS Plus game trials both have a problematic element behind them. The fact that the consumer has to pay to access what is a demo at the end of the day. Thought I'd take a chance to make my stance clear. Let me know how you feel about each. The Xbox Moorcroft project will bring Xbox Game Pass Demos to the service that are optional for the developers to create, and Xbox will also compensate the developers for said demos. This was part of the big Xbox News recently when Sarah Bond revealed it head of the Xbox Showcase. PlayStation Plus Premium will also have PS Plus Game Trials that will allow you to play 2 - 5 hours of a game, but reports are saying they are mandatory for any game priced at wholesale above $34. These PS Plus changes have been a topic of discussion as PlayStation news has been coming in a lot lately. So here are my thoughts about Project Moorcroft vs PS Plus Game Trials.
