Still testing the open trap compound design and finding it is effective, but I still have to use my auto shotgun to take down the bigger attackers since the floor spikes, auto ballista, and other traps are not enough. Those big guys are a lot of hit points and the only way I can bring them down is very close range shotgun blasts to their head and face. They seem to have enough amour protection to make shots anywhere else almost worthless and they hit the Beacon hard with each blow.
