The Ghosts of Ghostwire Tokyo: 8 Yokai of Japanese Legend Spotted In Gameplay
Ghostwire Tokyo contains many yokai (spirits and supernatural entities) based on Japanese folklore. Though some embellishments or changes have been made to the creatures' in-game designs, their roots in real-world legend are still apparent. Our associate Jamy Catalyst went digging through pre-release gameplay and found all of the yokai she could identify. Enjoy this overview of some of the strange and terrifying creatures we'll encounter in Ghostwire Tokyo!
