The Arkanya Team is working alongside Top Hat Studios to bring The Girl from Arkanya to Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One, as well as Steam and Itch.io. Backers will receive the game on the platform of their choosing, though beta access will be through Steam and Itch only.

The Legend of Zelda is a fantasy video game series developed by Japanese game designers Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka for action-adventure. It is mainly developed and released by Nintendo, although it has outsourced some portable installments and re-releases to Capcom, Vanpool, and Grezzo. The gameplay combines action-adventure and action elements in RPG games.
The show focuses on Link's various incarnations; a courageous young man with pointed elf-like ears and Princess Zelda; goddess Hylia's mortal reincarnation. While its origins and backstory vary from game to game, Link is always given the mission of retrieving from Ganon the kingdom of Hyrule, an evil warlord turned demon who is the series' main antagonist; however, other settings and antagonists have appeared in other games. The plots usually include the Triforce, a sacred relic left behind by the goddesses who created Hyrule; Din, Farore and Nayru, reflecting the omnipotent virtues of Courage, Intelligence and Power when combined.
The franchise has grown to include 19 games on all of Nintendo 's major game consoles, as well as a number of spin-offs since the original Legend of Zelda was released in 1986. Since 1997 an American animated TV series was produced in Japan based on the games broadcast in 1989 and individual manga adaptations commissioned by Nintendo. Zelda's Legend is one of the most popular and profitable franchises of Nintendo; many of its entries are considered one of the best video games ever.
