(the) Gnorp Apologue was chosen as the Board Boosters game of the month for April 2025. The effort was intended to go toward the Speedrun Mode of the game, but instead I found myself more compelled to route out this category that they created for the leaderboard: Delete your save file and go from a new game file to game completion as soon as possible. The first run was around the 3 hour mark and subsequent runs were mostly hovering around an hour and a half, but a few people started cheering me on to see if I could get the sub-hour. While I did manage that with my previous PB, that was with the in-game timer that stops at some points. So I followed it up with this run to be absolutely certain that if we switched to RTA timing I would still have a sub-hour time.
The basic strategy is that you're trying to get talent points as quickly as possible and that's achieved with collection rate, but you have to reset to use the talent points you've obtained and you sometimes need to use talent points to get talent points. I build up to the winning number (14 talent points) and then do the winning run.
