Donatella by BandoTheReal & Lowkey

Track is mid. Beat is generic trap, robotic drums and such over simple sound loops, they get a bit layered as the track goes but outside of that is regular. Track is not in english so I have no comment on the content. I will say he comes in with a weird tone to his raps, and the effect on it seem a bit try hard ish that I did not love, and it felt like a hook until it never ended. The second dude on this way better cadence, effects, and flow. Great presence on the track and he brought the track up by a long shot ending it way stronger than it started sonically. It brought the track up from boring but not enough to truly save it because what I thought was the hook actually was the hook comes back and takes away the high note. His folks can run this up for him but outside of that I don’t see people really caring to give it spins, it also ends very abruptly after outstaying its welcome. Very mid.
Overall: 🆗
