Good Day


Welcome to my "The Goonies II (Explorer Edition)". Here We will not just beat the game and collect every items but we will also explore every inch of the hideout, literally setting foot in each square we see in the map. Also, we will reveal each and every enemy this game has which include encountering the one and only boss Ma Fratelli (the main boss) of the game. The object is to have a better experience and excitement playing the game. Here it goes.

Plot Overview:
Mikey, the protagonist has his friends(goonies) kidnapped by the Frattelis and locked in cages scattered at different locations within their vast hideout. The Fratellis also kidnapped a mermaid named Annie.She's the final rescue of the game. Mikey must at least collect these four essential items to beat the game, these are: Hammer, glasses, diving suit, and ladder. There are also many other items that will aid Mikey. He must also overcomes obstacles, and sometimes defeat enemies in order to accomplish this undertaking, aside from careful navigation of each areas.

This is the first part titled: "The Goonies II (Explorer Edition): The House".

Mikey's adventure starts in the first part of the green front layer of the Fratellis' house. There are many spider and snakes loitering around, luckily they are beaten in just one hit. Enter the first door, and you'll see the first essential item, the HAMMER, don't forget to take it and also the first KEY HOLDER in the next door. Some enemies are more troublesome like Jake Fratteli(gunner), and crows.

Going down the ladder is the basement, same enemies, but more crows and more obstacles, on the far left door contains the SLINGSHOT. The middle door has the first MAGIC LOCATOR DEVICE. This device helps us pinpoint in the map the location of the corresponding captured goonie. On the far right is a vertical moving platform, that brings us to a brick, you'll a scenery to the right that you can't access for now. Going through the middle door brings us to the oppsite side, the House's back layer basement. Pressing the START button let us see the location of the goonie (blue dot). Before going after him, we must explore the lower basement below taking the ladder, going through the door, we'll find a chest in the left and an empty room at the right. By punching the back wall of the right room reveals the first FIRE BOX which contains 5 molotov cocktails. Going out from the door, as you go right more, you'll see a scenery in the right, a part of the basement that cannot be access for now, let's move on an go up to the main level. You'll be brought to the first part of the pink back layer of the house. Going up the ladder on the far left door you'll encounter an old man dressed in robes. He'll tell you, this is a warp zone, going left, is an empty room, but using your hammer and hit the ceiling, you'll get a hole, you need a ladder to access that though. Moving to the upper level is the FIRST GOONIE, rescue him and you'll have 3 bars of health, but before that, hit the back wall of the room you first enter and you'll see the first BOMB BOX, take it and you'll have 5 bomb supplies. Now go back to the front house's basement, go one level down, go right and we can see another scenery currently not accessible. Go left and you'll see two pillar and a couple of platforms. You are now leaving the house, enter the door and another old man will inform you this is a warp zone. Going through brings you to the Back Layer's The Red Cavern.
