The Great Alliance - How to Avoid the Pipe Exit Glitch in Maze Mountain Climb
This is a follow-up to the video I uploaded yesterday:

(Too bad video responses stopped existing a few years ago.)
So, SuperSupermario24 figured out what the problem with this exit pipe was. Apparently, its Y position was high enough that entering the pipe while riding Yoshi causes the game to consider you to be on the screen above when determining where to send you. However, this pipe is already at the top screen of the level, so it'll always send you to the Bonus Game room where you get trapped.
However, when you're not riding Yoshi, entering that pipe sends you to the proper screen where the normal goal is. So, if you have Yoshi when you get to that pipe, dismount him before entering, and you'll have no problems.
Man, what a weird unexpected oddity that I certainly didn't know about beforehand... Well, at least I can proceed with the game now, but Bandicoot should really fix that pipe so it can be entered with Yoshi no problem, maybe by lowering it by one tile.
Afterwards, I decide to "ludicrous speed" through the next level to show something that happened to me shortly after I cleared Maze Mountain Climb's normal exit during the co-op with Flandre last night. It's probably a good idea to make your autoscrolling levels end just after the goal, to avoid potential issues...
