The Great Escape Game walkthrough! Mission 10 - The Great Escape & Mission 11 - Last Train Home. PC, Hard difficulty, no mouse (mousepad) - hardened, Lithuanian subtitles included, HD.
The Great Escape finally begins! Squadron Leader Roger Bartlett "Big X" orders Sedgwick to get thirty feet of rope. Ashley-Pitt makes a distraction for this task, but exfiltration is always harder. Sedgwick manages to disable the generators for the searchlights to sneak out undetected. Then he uses a trolley to get the rope to Big X. Captain Virgil Hilts of USAAF gets the next task - he needs to set up a rope signal system for the POWs. Once the guard between the tunnel and the searchlights goes away, Hilts triggers the signal so the prisoners of war can escape. Later, Roger takes the control of the signal and tells Hilts to get out of Stalag Luft III. The Great Escape has succeeded! From here on out, all the POWs will be on their own to escape from Germany. Two of the POWs are Hendley and Colin Blythe, who take the last express to home. However, they need to make their way out of the train as the Gestapo enters it, and Hendley doesn't have the needed papers. Blythe stays in the bathroom while Hendley goes for the keys to a door. This is no walk in the park - the other side of the train is well guarded, and for some reason the alarm triggers before Hendley can take the keys with no hussle. He would have had his cover blown anyway, so Bob Hendley takes some weapons and blasts, shoots and dashes through all of the Goons and the Gestapo 'till he makes his way back to Colin and they both jump out of the train.
