I'm back at TGE! =) This is my fourth walkthrough, started on the 13th day of February. Well, the day doesn't mean anything. The Great Escape is a year 2003 game, developed by Pivotal Games and published by SCi Games in conjunction with Gotham Games. It's a fun stealth/action third-person game, based on the movie The Great Escape 1963 by John Sturges which is based on a book by Paul Brickhill. The main events take place in a Prisoner Of War (POW) camp called Stalag Luft III, one of the biggest lagers ever made. The main characters are USAAF Captain Virgil Hilts (AKA The Cooler King, picklocker, Steve McQueen in movie), MacDonald (AKA Intelligence, liar that gets past goons), Sedgwick (AKA Manufacturer, can repair vehicles), Hendley (AKA Scrounger, pickpocket) and Blythe (AKA Forger, an almost blind lad). It's World War II, and in level 1, MacDonald and other British fighters (though he's Scottish) fly over Berlin in a bomber raid. The flaks cause some trouble and MacDonald eventually deals with them. The airplane still gets hit by a flak cannon and MacDonald is forced to burn the code book, take a parachute and abandon the aircraft. Sadly, he falls straight into the hands of Nazis who then take him to a POW camp, Dulag Luft X. In level 2, MacDonald is accompanied by the Senior British Officer who gives him a compass and tells him to go to the Big X of the camp. Big X instructs MacDonald about his escape and soon the Scot manages to escape through a tunnel out of the camp. Not for long though, as MacDonald is immediately captured by German Goons, who take him to The Castle...
