The Happy Ghast is Here! ▫ Minecraft Survival Guide S3 ▫ Tutorial Let's Play [Ep.118]
The Minecraft Survival Guide Season 3 continues in Minecraft 1.21.6 - Chase the Skies
In today's video, we step into Minecraft's latest gameplay drop to find and raise Happy Ghasts - new mobs which can transport you, your friends, and even mobs or boats through the skies!
First, after acknowledging how weirdly misty the overworld is now, we head out to an unexplored Soul Sand Valley to discover the Dried Ghast among the bones of nether fossils. We also look at how the Dried Ghast can be crafted or bartered from piglins!
Dunking the Dried Ghast in water for around 20 minutes will produce a Ghastling, the baby version of the Happy Ghast, which eats snowballs, imprints on nearby mobs, and otherwise just hangs around being cute.
Then, once our Happy Ghast is fully grown, we look at how they can be harnessed and rode by players, act as platforms for building in higher places, and can be leashed to animals and boats to carry them.
Along the way, we also look at revisions to leads - how mobs can now be leashed together, but firework boosting and leads are now fundamentally incompatible.
