Another month, another descriptive yet raunchy and comical game review for the masses (and expect another one this month)!

This time, it's on a very obscure Genesis title - and a direct follow-up to Spellcaster on the Master System. In fact, both are loosely based on an obscure manga/OVA series - PEACOCK KING (Kujaku-Oh), the creation of the late Makoto Ogino (1959-2019). MYSTIC DEFENDER puts you in control of veteran magician/fighter Joe (aka Kujaku) as he's out to save Alexandria (aka Ashura) from the clutches of Zareth, henchman of the dreaded King Zao (aka Oda Nobunaga and the Holy Cherubim, respectively) within the confines of their rightfully-claimed Azuchi Castle. For those that haven't seen the original source material, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND DOING SO.
