The Hardest Part of Police Work as Shown in Games (SWAT 4, Detroit Become Human, Police Quest)
Some police games are pretty good representations of police work and its hardships. In their own quirky ways, I mean. In this video, I talk about what I believe to be the most difficult thing about being a cop: making split-second decisions. I chose three games that have an interesting take on the topic: SWAT 4 with its rules of lethal engagement, Detroit Become Human with its depiction of human vs machine reaction time, and Police Quest (designed by an actual police officer) and how it brilliantly shows the dangers of regular patrol duty.
