The Harsh TRUTH Why Anime games SUCK and What Needs to Change!
With the recent release of Hunter x hunter nen impact being even worse than people expected, there has once again been a rise in discourse regarding anime games. Not just due to nen impact's abysmal launch, but also following the messy run Bleach Rebirth Of has been on, the infamous fan response and abandonment towards Dragon Ball Sparking Zero since it's launch, and just a general accumulation of rough anime game releases. However, it has also become apparent to me that throughout this online discourse, there is a lack of attention towards the actual good/unique anime games that deserve more love. whether it be single-player games, such as Dragon ball z kakarot, or more nuanced multiplayer games like Death note killer within and ultra rumble. Even in regards to fighters, more specifically the typical 3d arena fighters, I believe it's not all doom and gloom. There are things that developers, publishers, and even us players can do differently and push towards to make things better, and I discuss it all in this video. Enjoy and let me know your thoughts!
