The History of Video Game Patents
You might have heard some uproar this last week over WB claiming a video game patent on the Nemesis System that has been used in Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War. Could someone else still make something adjacent to the Nemesis System even with the Nemesis System Patent? And do video game patents as a whole, hurt games by not allowing concepts and systems from appearing in more titles? Today I present to you The History of Video Game Patents.
