In this episode, we have the full run-through as I did it on the ZX Spectrum of the Hobbit adventure game from Melbourne house. The Hobbit is an illustrated text adventure computer game released in 1982 for the ZX Spectrum home computer and based on the 1937 book The Hobbit, by J. R. R. Tolkien. It was developed at Beam Software by Philip Mitchell and Veronika Megler and published by Melbourne House.

The game follows the story of Bilbo Baggins, a hobbit who is convinced by the wizard Gandalf to join a group of dwarves on a quest to reclaim their lost kingdom of Erebor from the dragon Smaug. Along the way, Bilbo must use his wits and courage to overcome a variety of challenges, including trolls, goblins, and giant spiders.

The Hobbit was a critical and commercial success, winning the 1983 Golden Joystick Award for best strategy game. It was praised for its faithful adaptation of the book, its innovative use of graphics, and its challenging gameplay.

The game is still available to play today on a variety of platforms, including the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, and PC. It is a classic adventure game that is sure to please fans of the book and the genre.

Here are some of the features of the game:

Faithful adaptation of the book
Innovative use of graphics
Challenging gameplay
Available on a variety of platforms
If you are a fan of The Hobbit or adventure games, then I highly recommend checking out this classic title.
A fantastic game to which I owe my interest from the age of 10 in the Tolkien world and then in Literature.
