1There's an old saying, it takes years to build a good reputation, and only one mistake to ruin it, so be careful what you say and do, the world's full of gossips and slanderous people as it is.
Once our reputations are tarnished, it's very difficult, sometimes impossible to restore, give a dog a bad name and it sticks, as the old saying goes.
And most people are better at remembering the bad, rather than the good π
