The Importance of Story in Fighting Games
311Story in fighting games seems to be a bit of a polarizing issue in the community for as long as i remember. When street fighter V was released a big complaint was the lack of story mode at the time and some argued why even release a game with such little content. There is also a big part of the community who only care about game play i mean it is a FIGHTING game after all.
Of course its not the main feature of a fighting game and a lot of people could argue if its even needed.
In this video i talk about the importance of story in fighting games and the connection it can have between players and characters they've picked especially to a new player.
