My sixth video of The Impossible Game 2! I have been playing Geometry Dash on and off for about 7 years now and I am currently ranked #70 on the In-Game leaderboard of Geometry Dash as WKGames (an account which I started about 2 years ago). Considering the massive influence GD has had on my life, I felt I should pay some respects to the game that inspired GD: The Impossible Game. The team at FlukeDude Limited has been developing the sequel to this game for about 12 years now and they finally released it on March 4, 2022. I am excited to see the improvements they have made to the original.
In this video I show a complete play-through of the first level of World 2: 8 Bit Adventure with checkpoints disabled. This level introduces the robot-spider obstacle which functions both as a moving obstacle and as a jump pad. By jumping on a robot-spider, you kill it and get a boost allowing you to reach new heights. Robot spiders will bump into other spiders and other obstacles causing them to move side to side in mirror portal sections like at 1:49. Overall, this is a cool new gimmick with lots of potential and I look forward to how it will be used in harder levels. This level also introduces the bullet shooter enemy towards the end which shoots at you from the opposite side of the screen and occasionally rushes towards you. This enemy is less memorable but it could have some potential in certain circumstances. This level is generally pretty fun and it goes well with the song. It is definitely easier than Think Different but it still may require some practice for beginners.
