My seventh video of The Impossible Game 2! I have been playing Geometry Dash on and off for about 7 years now and I am currently ranked #70 on the In-Game leaderboard of Geometry Dash as WKGames (an account which I started about 2 years ago). Considering the massive influence GD has had on my life, I felt I should pay some respects to the game that inspired GD: The Impossible Game. The team at FlukeDude Limited has been developing the sequel to this game for about 12 years now and they finally released it on March 4, 2022. I am excited to see the improvements they have made to the original.
In this video I show a complete play-through of the second level of World 2: Octane with checkpoints disabled. This level introduces the gun gimmick which is by far the most creative part of this game so far imo. Gun powerups can be placed throughout the map and are picked up simply by gliding over them with the cube. When the gun is picked up, the next input will fire the gun rather than jumping the cube. Gun shots will destroy one block / spike / enemy each. There are moments where you have to time your gun shot such as 1:43 in order to progress. Overall, this gimmick has a ton of potential and is quite unlike anything in GD. The challenge level for this world, Dark Sheep, uses guns in some very creative ways so I look forward to seeing how this gimmick is expanded upon in future levels. As for the level itself, it's not too bad compared to what we've seen before. Think Different is still much harder but you may need a few practice runs to complete this in normal mode.
