This newest addition to the MHW beta is a real handful. The most annoying thing about him is he has no qualms hitting you while you're immobilized on the ground. The solution? Don't get hit the first time I guess?

He has spikes all over him that disappear and reappear. You can tell how old they are based on their color. It seems when they're on his carapace, he takes a lot less damage. So the strategy is press the attack and take advantage of his vulnerable times.

Me and Glascoe got him limping away once after this and cut off his tail more times than I remember. Sadly, no kill yet.. then again we haven't had 3 hunters yet.. Yeah I got hope. :D
