The Isle News Updates: Update 3 and Public Beta Status, Mechanics, Ptera Lifting Things, More Q&A
More Q&A today which gratefully means more to share!
First section, aside from the roadmap recap, focuses on deinosuchus and touches on roadmap stuff.
Next up is a lot about what has made update 3 so time consuming and further reassurances that future updates will not take this long. Hopefully the devs are right this time.
More about the upcoming roadmap, which sounds more and more mechanic focused in order to lay groundwork for future dinos.
Open beta isn't out yet due to some serious bugs.
New points of interest/map edits will be in the open beta.
Utahs can pounce flying pteras (assuming they're low enough of course). Ptera will probably not survive that.
Ptera will be able to fly with small carcasses/chunks. Ptera might also be able to take weapons from humans in the future.
Larger and better guns/ammo will be rarer, as previously stated. Humans might get bombs, but nothing huge. Humans might need medical items and time depending on the wounds received in order to heal.
A little more on berry bush/fruit stuff. It sounds like there is a whole dev discord channel dedicated to edible plants.
Male dinos might finally have something to do when it comes to nesting.
Diving will be limited on a species to species basis.
Thank you all, I hope you enjoy! I'm glad we're getting more info lately.
