The Journey to Complete Every Pokedex Part 3 (Yellow Version)
0Whats up guys I'm back again with the 3rd part of the walkthrough to complete every pokedex while studying the Bible with you guys. Today we continue our Journey into the Viridian Forest while continuing our study through 1 John on the things to test our faith and help us see if we are in the faith. I am enjoying doing this so much and its such a blessing to be able to do this with you guys. God is soo good, and I hope you guys are enjoying it as well and enjoying the nostalgia of playing some Pokémon Yellow with me. Today will be an easy as we run through the Viridian Forest as I said before and just start getting things moving on getting Butterfree and powering up Mankey and Nidoran so I can easily knock out Brock. Scripture study
Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did. 1 John 2:4-6
Ask yourself how did Jesus live? Jesus loved those around Him, and not how we see love, but how people need to be loved. He told people the truth, so much so, that it got Him killed. Jesus wasn't afraid to stand for what the word of God said. Jesus was proud of the word of God and spoke it to everyone. I mean He was the word of God. But Jesus also showed us how to live, by loving our neighbors as ourselves. That just by looking with lust we commit adultery, and just by hating someone we commit murder. Jesus was willing to giv everything He had for others, but are you willing to help the poor and those around you or are you always saying thing like well they're just a drunk. They will spend it on this and this, that's why I don't help them. Maybe if they got their life right. However Jesus fed more than 5000 people two different times. And yes if you read the text the 5000 and 4000 was just counting the men. I'm sure in that crowd there were all types of people, Jesus even said, "Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill." John 6:26. Meaning these people saw a miracle but didn't even worship or think of God they probably just enjoyed the food and wanted more there was no repentance or anything, yet Jesus still helped them and blessed them. God blesses the righteous and unrighteousness with life, sun, rain, food, everything Matthew 5:45. So why can't you bless and help people the same regardless of what you may think. That could be an opportunity for you to preach the gospel to them and it may completely change their life. We are just called to do what He commands. This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth 1 John 3:16-18. Are you willing to preach the gospel to people even if it makes them mad at you? Even if it costs friend and family are you willing to stand on the word of God and not waiver in your belief? Will you compromise on things because it's easier than being hated? If so then you really need to examine yourself. We are to live the way Jesus called us to live even if that means dying for it as the apostles did. For me to live is Christ to die is gain Philippians 1:21.

I just pray in general that everyone is doing okay, and that you all would grow everyday in Christ and in your understanding. Drawing closer to Him in everything and for those that don't know Christ and haven't heard the good news.
