The Juggernaut Power-Up Bug in Marvel vs Capcom 2 - A Wild Glitch Appears!
In Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Juggernaut has an ability called Cyttorak Power-Up which causes his next hit to deal approximately 50% more damage. It's not great, because it only applies to the next HIT he connects with, so only the first strike of a multi-hit move will be buffed. Not to mention, if he whiffs on his next attack, he loses the power-up.
However, if Juggernaut uses his Cyttorak Power-Up ability, then immediately switches out to another teammate, then switches back in, the 50% damage buff will be applied to EVERY HIT HE CONNECTS WITH for the remainder of the match!
So for example, Juggernaut's Head Crush typically deals 64 damage if it fully connects. Normally, the Cyttorak Power-Up plus Head Crush deals 69 damage, since only the FIRST HIT of Head Crush will benefit from the 50% damage increase. But with this glitch, a full Head Crush will deal 95 total damage since EVERY hit of the Head Crush is buffed by 50%.
By default, this glitch is REMOVED from the Marvel vs. Capcom: Fighting Collection. So if you want to exploit this bug, you need to go into the settings menu from the main menu, and turn the Cyttorak Power-Up option to "Keep effects on tag."
