Known as "The King of Fighters: Maximum Impact 2" everywhere but in the U.S., this game is the "sequel" to KoF:MI. While it may not be everything everyone wants it to be, It is definitely a step in the right direction as far as 3D KoF goes and is actually one of my favorite PS2 fighting games. Just about everything has been improved substantially since the first game and the opening movie (while shy of some important characters) is awesome.

The character roster has been greatly improved and the returning characters have been spiced up with new moves and chaining potential. The game also has new modes and the visuals are much better too. This game is a great expansion to Maximum Impact, so if you could only get one or the other, get this one. This video shows mainly snippets of different fights. The video uses Nagase, B. Jenet, and ends with the hungry wolf (Terry Bogard), who was pretty darn hungry. Enjoy.
