Part of my first Calvacade of Indie Games, where I tried a bunch of Indie games I got cheap off the eShop.
I tried The Knight Witch and honestly didn't like it very much. The story I didn't really care for and the gameplay was... okay, I guess. I don't like the way the controls work though.
I think its supposed to be reminiscent of Tohou in a way as a bullet hell shooter, and I might have liked the aesthetic more if it wasn't for the fact that the game wasn't what I thought--I thought it was a straight fantasy setting and the witch in question was a magic knight, but no, its actually steampunk which I REALLY don't like.
We face the first boss of the game finally, and right after this is when I decided to call it quits for this game and move onto something else. I doubt I'll ever go back to this one, but for whoever may be interested, this is a brief preview of the beginning of The Knight Witch.
