Here we are folks, another PC Engine title, one of the early titles actually and what I also remember from Hi Score Girl (I should get back to that.)

Anyways! Very impressive for an early launch title, the sprites are big and it's one of the few beat em ups I know off that's purely auto scrolling and 1 on 1 boss fights. Controls are simple, you have a punch and a kick and to jump you have to press up which can mess you up sometimes.

Not much else to go on really, your name is Wang, a bruce lee lookalike who roams around china to challenge people and take down the dark emperor at castle Lu Hao Yang.

Not much to go on for combat, there's a punch kick and two jump kicks. You do have super moves but to activate them, you have to actually take hits. Two hits your first becomes huge and deals 3 damage, three hits and you can barrage the boss with punches, if you're close enough you can take them out in one go but it's tricky to do that so I suggest just using the huge fist one.

The bosses for the most part are a mixed bag, the bald dude isn't too bad, the woman can be cheesed easily as well. The only real adversaries here are your clones, the other martial artist and the drunken master himself straight out of the movie who can eat like two bars of health, what makes it worse is he refills his health by drinking from his gourd.

Still there are patterns to it along with some proper timing, you get health refills along the way too. There's three ways to get health, the floating box one. Second one is either hitting multiple projectiles. 2nd is hitting specific projectiles by doing a specific jumps (I only ever noticed this in stage 4 where the jump kick hits like two arrows so you get two short refills.) Last is the bonus game, if you manage to break the jar fully, you get a full refill, if you're health bar upgrades.

Music is pretty good, very martial arts like. Difficulty is okay for the most part, just be sure to have maybe 2 levels of your health bar to cheese the final boss because he can get cheap really fast unlike the previous ones.

Not much else to say, impressive visually for an early title but nothing too exciting.
