Now specially in naughty dog's case where they have already delayed the last of us part 2 once and they had to request sony on handling the investors to give them more time in order to develop. But things cant be same all the time, Now sony cannot keep asking the developers for more time as that will hurt the reputation for sony with the investors, There next gen consoles are arrive soon & this is not the time to play around with investors anymore. It's a touch call to make with announcing the release dates, but both Sony & naughty dog as pretty clear that they dont want to delay the last of us 2 & we might get to see it release in May 2020 if lucky as well.
