The Last of Us 2 - ENDING Gameplay Walkthrough PART 19 - No Commentary [PS4 PRO]

This is my Last of Us 2 Walkthrough with No Commentary and PS4 PRO Gameplay. The game is quite long and arduous. I try my best to stealth through most of the sections, but if things go loud I deal with it to the best of my ability or end up restarting checkpoints. I left my deaths in as when reloading a checkpoint after death, you might end up with a different enemy placement. The game is something special when it comes to combat, exploration, etc. Story is subjective and I won't talk about it till the final part goes up.
With the final part being up. Some things to say. Gameplay, exploration, level design, visuals, and production values are all off the charts. Story in the original Last of Us was better imo. This one drags on a bit and has characters who come and go and don't leave a big impact like Tess and Bill from the original. Some characters deserved way more screen time. We all know who, but the game chose to focus on a brand new set of characters which i think is ok to establish them well, but Joel, Tommy, Maria get severely underused. Also Ellie from the first one was so cute and innocent and pure. She's none of that now, and her loss of innocence makes it hard to like some of the things she says and does. While I understand her story arc, it just annoyed me to no end.
The journey was fun and intense with awesome set pieces and combat encounters, but the ending left much to be desired. It felt like no one got a happy ending here. Just senseless hate and violence. I'm curious to see where they go with the Last of Us 3. Will i be playing it? Yes. I am neutral on the story so I am interested if they ever make a Part 3. One last thing I wish to say is that, imo, the game should have stopped after the ending of The Last of Us. A sequel wasn't necessary imo, but they went ahead and made it, so only thing to do is cry about my favourite character in the game, and wait for a sequel.
