5You voted to play “The Last Of Us” so here we go!! You really know when a game is a masterpiece when you cry from an intro with characters you’re not even connected with yet… This is my first time actually playing through the Last of Us and I'm already hooked (and not just because the game starts off with some familiar territory in Austin!)
I know I keep saying this but as a new parent ( my little boy is 6 months old as of this video) games like this hit me so much harder. I mean… well I won't spoil the intro but you've probably already heard of or played it yourself but this game starts off rough 🙁
The Last of Us is a third-person survival/action video game developed by Naughty Dog centered around a modern plague decimating mankind. Nature encroaches upon civilization, forcing remaining survivors to kill for food, weapons, and whatever they can find.
Joel, a ruthless survivor, and Ellie, a brave young teenage girl who is wise beyond her years, must work together to survive their westward journey across what remains of the United States. Joel and Ellie encounter different enemies including The Infected, Scavengers and The Military.

The plot of Remastered is exactly the same as the original, with a new virus turning humans into hostile infected and being set 20 years after such. It follows a hardened survivor Joel and an immune teenager Ellie crossing across a post-apocalyptic United States in order to find a group called the Fireflies, who would be able to create a cure against the disease by studying Ellie's immunity.
An enhanced port of the original PlayStation 3 version of The Last of Us, it has all the same content from the original release, but with a 1080p resolution, higher resolution character models, improved shadows and lighting, upgraded textures, 60 frames per second and the removal of several glitches.
All major downloadable content releases were also implemented with The Last of Us Remastered, including Left Behind, Abandoned Territories map pack and Reclaimed Territories. In addition to all the technical updates, included is also an exclusive director’s commentary for all in-game cinematic featuring creative director and writer Neil Druckmann, voice actor Troy Baker, who plays Joel, and BAFTA Award winning voice actress Ashley Johnson, who plays Ellie.
A unique Photo Mode was added to the game exclusively for the Remastered edition. Through this, players are able to take personalized screenshots of the game at any time by freezing the action, except during a cutscene, and then manipulate aspects of the image such as camera position, frame, field of depth, focus and color saturation.
