More often than not Ellie will die from the fall damage after you clip out. I thought showing a compilation of successful attempts would help. Although very hard this does save approx 5 seconds over the current method (thanks to Yoranto for testing on his PS5).

I tried to figure out what makes her not die (landing on the box does help to limit fall range ofcourse) but I had attempts where she directly fell on the floor and also didn't die. I have some theories as to why but nothing concrete.

About the last clip: If you check the end of my quick turn melee video I talk about a "stumble" that can happen. I have a pretty solid theory on it. What appears to be happening is the game briefly removing collision from the player when certain load triggers are hit. The stumble is essentially the player about to fall under the floor but collision loads in very quickly and stops this from happening.

Sometimes (and very rarely) a stumble turns into "remove collision for much longer" that does allow you to actually pass through floors and more importantly walls. I'm not sure what causes the longer non collision load though. What makes this so ridiculous is that you first have to have an area in which a stumble is known, hope you get the longer collision deload (super rare to start with) and then run into the wall just as it happens so you have the momentum to fully clip through. What's also very strange is pay attention to the loading, it's much faster for some reason (not staying white for very long).
