The Last of Us Part 1 Performance | RX 6800 XT, 5800X3D, 1440p Ultra | No Upscaling, No Frame Gen
In this performance showcase of The Last of Us Part 1 on PC, we’re playing at 1440p resolution with Ultra graphics settings, showcasing the game without any upscaling or frame generation. This video covers the prologue, starting from when the characters get into the car to escape.
Running on a high-end 2023 system featuring an RX 6800 XT GPU and Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU, the performance is shown in its raw, unmodified form. The game is updated to version 1.1.4.0, with in-game performance metrics displayed using both the MSI Afterburner overlay and the in-game HUD, showing frametime graphs, FPS, and other essential performance data.
Originally released on March 28, 2023, The Last of Us Part 1 was developed by Naughty Dog LLC and Iron Galaxy Studios. As The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered comes to PC on April 3, 2025, I plan to showcase its performance as well when it’s available—budget permitting!
