The Last Of Us Part 1
Twenty years later, a deadly infection has destroyed most of civilization. Joel works with Tess, his partner, as a smuggler in a quarantine zone in Boston, Massachusetts. They try to recover a stolen weapons cache from a black-market dealer named Robert. After they catch him, Robert tells them that he traded the cache with the Fireflies, a rebel militia opposing the quarantine zone authorities. The Fireflies' leader, Marlene, offers to double their cache in exchange for smuggling a teenage girl named Ellie to Fireflies hiding in the Massachusetts State House.
Joel and Tess discover that Ellie is infected while sneaking out at night. Ellie claims she is immune to the infection and could be the key to finding a cure. The trio heads to the State House, where they find that the Fireflies have been killed. Tess reveals that she has been infected and sacrifices herself to protect Joel and Ellie from the pursuing soldiers. Believing that Ellie's immunity is crucial, Joel decides to find Tommy, a former Firefly, hoping that he can locate others who can help them.
